Class I. Team championship and first individual qualifying competition.

Grand Prix Dressage (FEI test 1995 edition), two days.
Starting order according to separate draw ( Art.456,1-5).
Each competitor may start only one horse, the result of the best three riders of each nation will be valid for team score.

World Championship medals and trophy for National Team.
Prize-money for individual placing: Lit. 35.000.000 ($19,600 or $4,900 each team member)- before withholding tax -. Split will be made providing one price for each four commenced competitors.

Grand Prix Special (FEI test 1995 edition) according to art. 455.B 1 is limited to and compulsory for the 24 best placed rider/horse combinations in the Grand Prix, including those who tie for 24th place. Participation:
According to article 455.B 2. The Grand Prix-level Freestyle Test is limited to and compulsory for the overall best 12 out of competitions Class I and II by adding the percentages of these competitions as points. In case of a tie for 12th place, the higher score in the Grand Prix Special will decide for the placing.
Half points may be used for the artistic scores.
In case of certified illness of rider and/or horse combination in the respective classification the next placed will move up to fill the number of combinations allowed.


Requirements:
According to the valid FEI marking sheet for the Free Style Test Revision 1997,Grand Prix Level. The music must be handed over when the declaration of starter takes place
.


Classification:
According to article 459, Individuals. All three competitions which are valued at an equal level, count for the final Individual Classification.
Percentage scores to two decimal points will be given for the placings in all three competitions. The percentages of all three competitions will be added up as points for the final classification. If two competitors have the same final score, the highest technical marks in the Kür will decide for the better placing.


Kür Starting order:
According to article 456 B. The riders having placed 7th through 12th after Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special will start first, followed by the group made up of those having placed 1st through 6th. The starting order within the groups will be drawn.
