Wiebke
a.k.a. Mousse (Werther/Darling)
Sadly, we lost Mousse, this spring, the day after foaling, due to a ruptured uterine artery. Her colt "Furbee" is doing very well. We are also lucky to have a beautiful daughter of hers, Wiebke II, who will be in our breeding program next year. Mousse was such a happy mare - eternally optimistic that there would be peppermints in every pocket. She loved everyone and we all loved her in return. She is greatly missed. "She

Weike was an Elite Hanoverian mare and one of our best producers. She was Devon winner in hand and under saddle and a consistent scorer in the 70's for dressage. She was a phenomenal mover with unbeatable temperament. Her foals have been very competitive, mostly dressage but one jumper. Her daughter Wiebekin, by Der Radetzky competed in 2000 in dressage and was 5th in the USDF All-Breeds Awards at Training Level, she is currently in training with Bill Peacock in Bellville, TX for a combined driving horse for my husband. Her first daughter by Frohwind, Wanna Dance, was awarded premium status, and was Champion Mare at Dessage Lite and Dressage on St. Croix in 2000 (USDF Central Series). Her second daughter by Frohwind is also a premium filly. A son Bravo, by Baron, is owned and competed by Grand Prix rider Trish Wallace in Texas. Another son, Finders Keepers - affectionately known as "Fonzie" is owned by Sarah Gordon and in dressage training with Anthea Kin. Her son by Wradar, Way Cool, is owned by Sheila Dooley and is beginning work under saddle this year. |
