Each day I find myself
practicing seeing you with my eyes closed, it comes naturally now
Unbidden thoughts of your beauty
Rich chocolate brown eyes that have seen so much,undimmed by the thief stalker of sight.
Your time here counted in the grey haze of your face
soft sweet muzzle hewn with time in pale grey shadow.
Spirit horse of my world wander on through my life and be mine forever more
in thought, in sight, in reality...stay.
Let me wander with you in morning mist where age has no color or hue
just me, just you.
