Dance Away HW
2004 Black Hanoverian Gelding by Dauphin (Donnerhall / Feiner Stern) /
World Cup I, standing approx. 16.1
Dance Away HW –
Nomen et Omen, as promised by his name, he is an impressive moving FEI
prospect and a super horse with high ride ability – he will make you
fall in love in an instant. He just looks and moves like his famous
sire Dauphin. Dauphin is a type Donnerhall son from an outstanding
mother line developed at Groenwohldhof where his sire stood for
breeding. The dam side brings an additional legacy of performance
blood to the stellar heritage of Dauphin’s legendary father. There
are three older sisters who have already earned their SPS or EM status
and additionally have shown in competitions.
Marefield Meadows,
his breeder, was fortunate when Dauphin was invited to join 49 other
colts in the 11-Month Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf. He
was the only privately-owned stallion of the group and he was given
the headstall number 50. His earnest work ethic seemingly indicated
that he was trying hard to prove the number on his bridle would not
determine the rank of his standing at the end of the training period.
The German breeders who followed the young stallions as they
progressed in their careful and thorough program were favorably
impressed with Dauphin’s swinging back and happy attitude. “For
him it’s like play; the riding is a game to him,” was the report
from one breeder who viewed Dauphin at the first public presentation
of the training group; and those who visited him in his stall
commented on his kind nature and good manners.
He also showed a
sturdy toughness when he made it through the entire training and
testing period barefoot. There were quite a few in this group of young
stallions who were highly talented in jumping but Dauphin managed to
hold his own by finishing in the middle of the pack, a surprising
placement for a horse from bloodlines that typically are considered
almost exclusively for dressage. By the end of the test he had earned
a score in dressage that ranked him fourth in the group, and Dauphin
was invited to remain at Celle on breeding lease.
Dance Away HW has
the finest pedigree. In addition to his sire Dauphin whom carries the
favorite Donnerhall and Feiner Stern blood, he carries World Cup (sire
of Weltmeyer and many more W-line stallions) on his dam site, it’s
no wonder that he’ll impress in many ways. The competition genes are
inherited! He is a very elegant boy for an amateur or professional
alike. He knows exactly how to present himself and has a given “look
at me attitude”. He was carefully started and is going well under
saddle. He has a great temperament and is a sweet and one of the
prettiest boys you will find, just look in his eyes and you’ll melt
away. He is in daily training and will be around First Level very
soon. He is simple to handle/manage and will do well in dressage or as
a fancy jumper/hunter, as he is athletic enough to do it all. He is
easy to train and willing to learn. He picks up where he left the day
before and loves to please. He is a forward and energetic horse with
enough courage and energy to go up the levels, but still level headed
and fun to ride without being hot.
This is a horse for
everybody alike and for sure a great addition to a show barn as he
will collect ribbons for you with his great attitudes and judges will
remember him. He is ready to go to his new owner and impress with his
looks and potential. He already has a very good rhythm/balance,
schwung and is uphill with a good motor and elegant front leg movement
with a free shoulder. Can you imagine showing him off at a clinic,
what will the audience say? Guess they’d be rather speechless…………
Hopefully you’ll be the one guiding him in his future journey and
the one to collect all the nice compliments which you are looking for.
