Capri FEI PROSPECT. 16.3H 2001 beautiful bay German Breeding -
American Bred gelding. By the Holsteiner stallion Caretino out of
fabulous mare by the Hanoverian stallion Davignon.
He has incredible natural suspension, 3 forward correct gaits and
excellent cadence and fluidity. Capri also has an amazing kind
temperament to match his physical attributes and really loves to
work and please. He has a very quiet and friendly disposition. He
gets along wonderful with other horses and doesn't mind being along
either, he is a true gentleman.
He is working 1st Level dressage and schooling 2nd Level movements.
He is in professional training in Oregon where he was shown for the
first time in 2006 in Open USDF/USEF Recognized Dressage shows at
Training Level and First Level Test 1. He scored a 69.630% in his
first test ever under Hilda Gurney at 1st L test 1 and frequently
received 8's on gaits! His scores for 2006 are as follows:
1)Donida Farms scores 64.545% - 69.630%,
2)Lake Oswego Hunt Dressage scores 67.273% - 70.00%,
3)ODS Open and Championship Show scores 69.167% - 73.846% where he
won Open Training Level Reserve Champion out of 15 horses and
4) GAIG/USDF Region 6 Dressage Championships scores of 69.231% -
70.192% where he ended up 4th out of 19 horses.
He also free jumps with beautiful form. Capri will make a winning
competitor for a competitive professional, amateur, or young rider
wishing to train to the FEI level. Sound, no vices. Easy to clip,
shoe and trailer.
