Winner's Championship at Münster 8/28-8/30/98

Herrmann Duckeck's preparation of the arena floor proved to be 'water-resistant'. Even after hours of rain every competitor praised it's super riding condition. The arena was layed on the lawn of the 'Schloss Westerholt property' especially for this event.
Once more Isabell Werth underlined her capabilities.

A Big Birthday Party at the Aachen Soers  (8/11-8/16/98)

The 61th CHIO at the Aachen Soers and the 100th anniversary of the Aachen-Laurensberger Racing-Club (where the CHIO usually takes place) were put together into a big birthday event. Framed by numerous show-events the competitions became part of a big party. 22 nations with 160 riders and more than 400 horses performed sportive and show highlights. 250,000 spectators visited the place and another estimated 450,000,000 watched the event at home on tv.

Dressage unLtd. has setup a special site of the event for members.
