Everybody expected another round in the duel between Anky van Grunsven and her opponent Isabell Werth. But this time the Swedish rider Louise Nathhorst took her chance of riding in her home country and made it to the top. Louise (who is called ‘Lussan’ by her fans) was encouraged by the audience in the completely sold-out ‘Scandinavium’ at Goteburg and rode her Hanoverian ‘Walk on Top’ into first position in the Grand Prix de dressage as well as in the freestyle test. This was the last appearence of the swedish car manufacturer Volvo as a sponsor.
