Wilhelm-Nikolas Kröncke |
September 98 |
| "Mont Royal I ride since the
beginning of 98, but he is really easy to handle, so it's fun!". Niki - as the
fair-haired young man is called by friends - sounds quite enthusiastic about his 12 year
old hessian gelding. He began riding at the age of 10, before he was only interested in
tennis. It was Black Boy, his sister's pony that attracted him to become a rider. Niki's
'star' is his pony-gelding Konrad, both became European and German champions in 1997.
"Unfortunately Konrad is injured, so I have to take care of him", the 15 year
old regrets. He loves competitions because here he meets most of his friends. "We
always have a blast", he laughs, "....especially at the
competition-partys!".

Kyira Kröncke |
September 98 |
| She is only 14 years old and -
together with her pony Edwin - already the most successful ponyrider for dressage in
Germany. "Sure Edwin is not the most beautiful pony, but he is always good tempered
and a real nice guy - I couln't imagine a better one for me!", Kira praises her
gold-pony. Anyway - her first Pony Black Boy is still her most beloved one. Black boy
appeared under the Christmas-tree eight years ago - decorated as a Christmas present with
a red ribbon. "Even as a small kid she always asked for a pony", her mother told
us, "so at last we couldn't resist any longer and purchased one for her." Kira and 'Blacky' were pretty successful and even won E and A level dressage competitions against 'real' horses. Meanwhile Kira belongs to the most successful ponyriders in Germany.
