Grand Prix - Consolation
Sunday, June 30

Eight of the ten riders who finished 16 - 25 in the Grand Prix Special rode their freestyles in this consolation round won by Hubertus Schmidt of Germany with Wansuela suerte, 78.25% earning 4 9s two-tempis and passage-piaffe transitions and artistic marks harmony between horse and rider and choice and interpretation of music. Klaus Husenbeth, also a "B" cadre rider for Germany competing as an individual and not on the German team, was second, 75.01% with Picoolino, a very correctly trained horse.

Our camera crew videoed the entire class from three camera positions including C where the stereo sound was perfect and the video will be ready within a week.
