USA

5/20/03 US Team. Five competitors from the US are training in Germany with team coach, Klaus Balkenhol.  Four will compete as a team in the CDIO and one as an individual in the small tour.    
6/13 USA announces Team for Aachen
Debbie McDonald with Brentina
Lisa Wilcox with Relevant
Guenter Seidel and Nikolaus
Steffen Peters and Grandeur
Competing as an individual in the small tour George Williams and Rocher.
Debbie McDonald with Brentina and Lisa Wilcox with Relevant have high enough qualifying scores to lead the team.
Guenter Seidel and Nikolaus, Jerez 2002 World Equestrian Games team medalist and 4th at the 2003 World Cup. Nikolaus placed 3rd in the Freestyle at Wiesbaden which should cinch their position on the US Team
George Williams and Rocher, 6th at the 2003 World Cup; and Steffen Peters and Grandeur will compete at Norten-Hartenburg and Wiesbaden for the two remaining team slots.  
Sue Blinks, Jerez 2002 WEG and Sydney 2000 team member, is unable to compete as Flim Flam suffered a minor injury while competing in Florida.  
Christine Traurig, Jerez 2002 WEG reserve, is not competing with the 15 year old Etienne, the Sydney 2000 team bronze medalist and 11th overall.
