Equestrian Games
Aachen was awarded the 2006 World Equestrian Games, September,
2002 at Jerez 2002 WEG. Preparations are already underway for
Aachen 2006 WEG. In 2006, Aachen will host both CHIO Aachen 2006
in May and Aachen 2005 WEG in September |

Competing |
Eight countries will compete
in the Nations' Cup and riders from an additional eight countries will
compete as individuals. Germany, USA, and Spain, the Jerez 2002 World
Equestrian Game team medal winners will defend their team medals. |

Debbie McDonald personally congratulated each of the German riders
after the awards in the jumping arena. Debbie is good for
dressage. Grand Prix Special starts at 10 a.m., Freestyle

Opening
Ceremony, Tuesday, June 16 with Hungary
Approximately 280 participants
and approximately 120 horses will turn the prelude of the World
Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen into a colourful celebration. From
Hungarian horsebreeding, the traditional hussars over to the racy
"Hungarian Post", a vivacious survey of Hungary's horse
history will be presented to the audience. |

A distinguished panel of
nine judges from eight countries will be judging the CDIO dressage
